Welcome to Echo! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and the operator of the Echo iOS application (“we”) and govern your download, installation, access, and use of Echo and related services.
Please read these Terms carefully. By agreeing, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Service Description
Echo is a women’s fitness and lifestyle community app offering features including post browsing and publishing, class discovery, challenges, alerts, profiles, and local interactions.
When a remote content endpoint is configured, content may be served from third-party servers. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
2. Eligibility
- You must have full legal capacity to enter these Terms. If you are under 18, use the App with parental consent and supervision.
- You must ensure that use of the App is permitted in your jurisdiction and comply with local laws.
3. Account and Device
The current version is primarily local and does not require a remote account. You may set a display name and bio in the App; this information is mainly stored on your device. You are responsible for device security and actions taken in the App.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Post unlawful, infringing, harassing, discriminatory, pornographic, violent, false, or misleading content;
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others;
- Distribute malware or interfere with the App’s normal operation;
- Scrape, bulk-download, or commercially exploit App content without authorization;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization;
- Engage in any conduct that violates law or public order and good morals.
We may hide, remove, or restrict content or features where we reasonably believe rules are violated, to the extent technically feasible.
5. User Content
- You are solely responsible for text, images, videos, and other content you post (“User Content”).
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, copy, store, and process User Content as needed to provide, display, store, and back up the service. This license is limited to operating the App and ends when you delete content or uninstall the App, except where law requires otherwise.
- You represent that you have the rights needed to post User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
5.1 Community Moderation & Safety
- Terms before posting: You must accept these Terms before publishing or interacting with community features.
- Automated filtering: We apply keyword and pattern filters to block clearly objectionable text before it is posted.
- Report: You can report posts and comments from the in-app menu. Reports are sent to our moderation queue.
- Block: You can block abusive users. Blocking immediately removes their content from your feed and sends a report to us.
- 24-hour review: We aim to review reports within 24 hours, remove violating content, and restrict or eject offending users when appropriate.

6. Intellectual Property
Echo’s design, interface, branding, built-in class resources, documentation, and content we provide (excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them commercially without written permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may include third-party hosted images, videos, or optional remote data endpoints. Third-party services are operated by their respective providers; we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available”; we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure service;
- We are not liable for injury, health issues, device failure, network outages, force majeure, or third-party causes;
- Leaderboards, community interactions, and similar features do not constitute binding offers or commercial invitations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App. Our total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount you paid us directly for the App (currently zero for the free version) or the higher amount required by applicable law.
10. Changes and Termination
We may update features or modify or terminate all or part of the service. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) remain in effect.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms. The effective date will be shown on this page; material changes may be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, they shall be submitted to a court with jurisdiction where we primarily operate.
