Welcome to DiaryL (the “App”). We value your privacy. This Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

DiaryL is a journaling tool focused on on-device records. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not upload your diary content to our servers.

DiaryL 是一款以本地记录为核心的日志工具。我们不会要求您注册账号，也不会将您的日记内容上传至我们的服务器。

To provide App features, DiaryL may process the following information locally on your device:

• Journal content: titles, notes, dates, moods, tags, entry types (daily / anniversary), and other items you create, edit, or import.
• 日志内容：标题、备注、日期、心情、主题标签、日志类型（日常 / 纪念日）等，由您主动创建、编辑或导入。
• Preferences: language, appearance mode, reminder settings and times, background-related settings, and similar choices.
• 偏好设置：语言、外观模式、提醒开关与时间、背景图相关设置等。
• Background images: if you choose a custom photo or a built-in style image, it is stored only in the App sandbox on your device.
• 背景图片：若您从相册选择自定义背景，或使用内置风格图，图片仅保存在本机应用沙盒中。
• Notification-related data: if you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications (for example, daily writing reminders or anniversary reminders).
• 通知相关数据：若您开启提醒，本应用会在本地安排通知（例如每日写作提醒、纪念日提醒）。
• Device debug identifier (dev_id): a random identifier generated for limited debugging scenarios, stored in the device Keychain, and not used for advertising tracking.
• 设备调试标识（dev_id）：在特定调试场景下生成的随机标识，保存在本机 Keychain，不用于广告追踪。
• Backup files: if you export or import a JSON backup, the related files are saved to or read from locations you choose.

3. How Information Is Stored

• Journal data is stored on your device using the system local database (SwiftData).
• 日志数据通过系统本地数据库（SwiftData）保存在您的设备上。
• Settings are stored in on-device preferences storage.
• 设置项保存在本机偏好存储中。
• dev_id is stored in the device Keychain.
• dev_id 保存在本机 Keychain。
• The App does not operate a cloud account system and, by default, does not sync diary content to developer servers.
• 本应用不运营云端账号体系，默认不会将日记内容同步到开发者服务器。

4. System Permissions

• Notifications: used only when you enable reminders, to deliver local alerts.
• 通知权限：仅在您开启提醒功能时使用，用于发送本地提醒。
• Photo access: used only when you select a custom background image; the App does not scan your photo library without your action.
• 照片访问权限：仅在您选择自定义背景图时使用，用于读取您指定的图片；本应用不会在未经您操作的情况下扫描相册。

You can turn off these permissions in system settings at any time. Related features may become unavailable, but other local journaling features remain available.

您可随时在系统设置中关闭相关权限；关闭后对应功能可能不可用，但不影响其他本地记录功能。

We use the information above only to:

• provide core features such as journaling, calendar views, search and filters, statistics, and backups;

• display language, appearance, and backgrounds according to your preferences;

• send local reminders when you enable them;

We do not use your diary content for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Except where required by law, or necessary to protect users and public safety, we do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your diary content with third parties.

The App may rely on Apple system capabilities (such as notifications, photo pickers, and local storage). Those capabilities are governed by Apple’s related privacy policies and system mechanisms.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect local data, including sandbox isolation and Keychain storage for sensitive identifiers. However, no electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device secure and export backups regularly if needed.

• You may edit or delete journal entries in the App at any time.
• 您可随时在应用内编辑或删除日志记录。
• Uninstalling the App usually removes data in the App sandbox. Keychain identifiers may remain on the device in some cases until overwritten or cleared by the system.
• 卸载应用通常会删除应用沙盒内数据；Keychain 中的标识在某些情况下可能仍保留于设备，直至被覆盖或系统清理。
• Exported backup files are managed and deleted by you.
• 您导出的备份文件由您自行管理与删除。

The App is intended for general users. If you are a minor, please use it under a guardian’s guidance and avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in your journals.
